Wild Card is an animated murder mystery show about a law student trying to crack an unsolved murder case, but who ultimately gets swept up in another murder and falsely charged for the crime. He must team up with an incompetent pro bono attorney to clear his name and solve the case. The show is set in an alternate version of Boston where the legal system has been completely overhauled and made into a more just system, and the country has established several elite legal universities which focus on training students to keep the legal system pristine.
